The Modern Church's Statements:
1.Evangelism is a specific ministry of the Church… It is not for everyone.
2.We are so busy nowadays that we became reluctant to spread the Gospel.
3.To be honest, we are ashamed of the Gospel. We don’t know people’s reaction if we confront them with the Good News.
Paul's Statement
1. I am obligated - v.14

3. I am not ashamed - v.17
The Gospel is a power to experience!
Once saved by Jesus Christ, we just know that there is power in God to save others through the Gospel
We are debtors to the world because Jesus Christ has entrusted us with the Gospel for them.
II- The Gospel is God’s power for salvation

III - The Gospel reveals God’s righteousness
The reason the Gospel is God’s saving power is that in it God’s righteousness is revealed!

2. God comes to our rescue - Divine Activity
3. God gives us the new status – righteous! - Divine Achievement

1. Rom 3:10 – “There is no one righteous, not even one”.
2. Rom3:23 - “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God
3. Rom 3:22 – “The righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe”.
•God’s Righteousness is a gift – Ro 5:17
•Once reconciled to GOD, we became the Righteousness of GOD - 2Co 5:21
Questions
How can we hide this fantastic news from people around us?
How can we be ashamed of the Gospel, if it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes? Jesus died for us... What have we done for HIM?
1. Ask people of your smal group about ways to share the Gospel.
2. How can we invite more people to our small group and talk to them about the Gospel?
