Read Isaiah 59:1,2,16,21
Introduction:
What is the Best Place in the World to live?
Is it Maple Ridge? Is it British Columbia? Is it Canada?
The best place in the world to live is where you have a purpose to accomplish!
I. Three Statements about God's Purpose
1. God wants me to see what is happening around me. = Attention!
2. God wants me to be appalled with the lack of good men intervening/interceding. = Indignation!
3. God wants me to work hard to change the situation, through HIS Power. = Action!
1. LOOK AROUND
In the way to accomplish what God wants me to do we find SINS...
-> Look Isaiah 59:1,2 then read all verses of the chapter 59
59:12 For our offenses are many in your sight, and our sins testify against us. Our offenses are ever with us, and we acknowledge our iniquities: 13 rebellion and treachery against the Lord, turning our backs on our God, fomenting oppression and revolt, uttering lies our hearts have conceived.

2. BE APPALLED
From a secular music:
“If you don't mind why don't you mind? Where is your sense of indignation?” (from "No One Will Ever Love You" - Magnectic Fields)
Indignation means: “strong displeasure at something considered unjust, offensive, insulting”. As verse 12 says: "For our offenses are many in your sight"
3. WORK HARD
a) With your Bible Reading.
It is not only to know some verses or stories of the Bible, but to apply each principle in your life and family. We will love what God loves. We will hate what God hates...
 Deuteronomy 6:4-9 (MSG)
4 Attention, Israel! God, our God! God the one and only!
5 Love God, your God, with your whole heart: love him with all that's in you, love him with all you've got! 6 Write these commandments that I've given you today on your hearts. Get them inside of you 7 and then get them inside your children. Talk about them wherever you are, sitting at home or walking in the street; talk about them from the time you get up in the morning to when you fall into bed at night. 8 Tie them on your hands and foreheads as a reminder; 9 inscribe them on the doorposts of your homes and on your city gates.
b) With your Commitment - Small Groups
How can you survive with only 30 minutes of preaching a week (if you go to the Church...)?
Acts 20:20 “You know that I have not hesitated to preach anything that would be helpful to you but have taught you publicly and from house to house”.
Acts 20:24 “However, I consider my life worth nothing to me, if only I may finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me –the task of testifying to the gospel of God's grace”.
Conclusion
The God's promise: Isa 59:21
21 "As for me, this is my covenant with them, says the LORD; My Spirit, who is on you, and my words that I have put in your mouth will not depart from your mouth, or from the mouths of your children, or from the mouths of their descendants from this time on and forever, says the Lord”.
Questions:
1. Are you applying God's Principles in your life?
2. Are you a Christ centred person? Family?
3. How to improve your time with the Bible?
