See the parallelism in each verse:
I make known the end from the beginning,
from ancient times, what is still to come.
(beginning) (end)
I say: My purpose will stand, and
I will do all that I please.
(will stand) (purpose)
From the east I summon a bird of prey;
from a far-off land, a man to fulfill my purpose.
(east) (bird of prey)
What I have said, that will I bring about;
what I have planned, that will I do.
(I have said) (I will bring about)
Two Statements:
I.He Makes Known the End from the Beginning
II.His Purpose (what pleases HIM) will be fulfilled
I.He Makes Known the End from the Beginning
The Scripture has God Himself as its anchor:
John 10:35 “…and (said Jesus) the Scripture cannot be broken…”
Matthew 22:29 "Jesus replied, "You are in error because you do not know the Scriptures or the power of God".
a) To know the Scriptures
to know (Greek) = see, perceive, understand
1.Read the Bible = OBSERVE
2.Meditate on the verses = INTERPRET
3.Practice the Bible = APPLY
b) To know the power of God
power (Greek) = dynamis = ability, power, abundance, might
God is the Almighty – He will fulfill every word of the Scripture
II.His Purpose (what pleases HIM) will be fulfilled - Isaiah 46:11

...a bird of prey = CYRUS the King of Persia
The ensign of Cyrus was a golden eagle.
Isaiah 44:28 (NIV) "who says of Cyrus, 'He is my shepherd and will accomplish all that I please; he will say of Jerusalem, "Let it be rebuilt," and of the temple, "Let its foundations be laid."'
Let’s listen the King Cyrus: Ezra 1:2-4
The Purpose of God is something that pleases HIM.
What does not please God
Romans 8:8 (NIV)
Galatians 1:10 (NIV)
Hebrews 11:6 (NIV)
What does please God
1 Thessalonians 4:1-4 (NIV)
Colossians 1:10-14 (NIV)
So...
1.Do not be controlled by sinful nature
2.Do not try to please men to serve God
3.Do not be an unbeliever
Instead of this...
1.Be sanctified
2.Avoid sexual immorality
3.Control your body
4.Bear fruit in good work
5.Grow in the knowledge of God
6.Be strengthened in His Power
7.Be patience
8.Be happy in the Lord
9.Give thanks to the Father
10.Enjoy living without sin
