When Paul talks about "His mighty power" on verse 10, we can compare with Ephesians 1:19-21 and find: Jesus' power is far above rulers, authorities, powers, dominion, power of the dark world, spiritual forces of evil or every title that can be given, not only in the present age but also in the one to come!
The devil's schemes (from Greek methodeia) mean: cunning arts, deceit, trickery. Every evil attack like lies, unrigteousness, blindness, incredulity, perdition, earthly and unspiritual wisdom.
So, we need the ARMOR OF GOD: our protection and hope in the battle.

1. TRUTH – John 14:6

“It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God–that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption”.
Romans 3:21-22
“21 But now a righteousness from God, apart from law, has been made known, to which the Law and the Prophets testify.
22 This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. …
Here an important teaching from the Bible to us: We must come to God in prayer through Jesus Christ. All our prayers must be in Jesus' Name. See John 14:12-14 & John 16:22-28
3. GOSPEL OF PEACE – Romans 1:1-3

4. FAITH – 1 Peter 5:8,9
“8 Be self‑controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.
9 Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that your brothers throughout the world are undergoing the same kind of sufferings”.
5. SALVATION - 2 Timothy 2:10
“10 Therefore I endure everything for the sake of the elect, that they too may obtain the salvation that is in Christ Jesus, with eternal glory”.
