The end from the beginning
“In the beginning GOD (Elohim) created the heavens and the earth”. Genesis 1:1
“He also says, "In the beginning, O Lord (Kyrios), you laid the foundations of the earth, and the heavens are the work of your hands”. Hebrews 1:10
Elohim presents the Trinity: The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit.
JESUS, the Son, is presented as the Kyrios in many texts of the NT. He is the LORD, it means, GOD!
Jesus is ONE with ELOHIM
18 No one has ever seen God, but God the One and Only, who is at the Father's side, has made him known. John 1:18
Since the beginning God is presenting HIS Will... The power of the WORD of GOD - Ge 5
Meaning of the names of Adam's line:
ADAM - Man
SETH - Appointed/Set in place
ENOSH - mortal
KENAN - Dwelling place/Nest
MAHALEL - Praise of God/Light of God
JARED - Comes down
ENOCH - Dedicate
METHUSELAH - Man of a dart/Purpose
LAMECH - Despair/Powerful
NOAH - Comfort
Putting all together we have something like:
“Man set place as mortal, will dwell as light of God, will come down, dedicated, man of a dart (purpose), powerful, will comfort people”.
Clearly this statement is about Jesus! What a powerful message since the beginning...
