read Psalm 37: 1-8
1. Do not fret because of evil doers.
2. Trust in the Lord.
3. Delight yourself in the Lord – He will give you the desires of your heart.
4. Commit your way to the Lord – make a decision to go God’s way.
5. Rest in the Lord – wait patiently.
‘Do not fret’ – 3 times this is mentioned.
Change a Nation III – Pray for MeText: Ephesians 6: 10-20
We need to be aware of:
I) The wiles of the devil - cunning behavior meant to trick
Be strong in the Lord.Put on the whole armour of God.Read the following scriptures and identify the “wiles of the devil”.Mark 8:33 , Luke 4:6 , 1 Cor. 7:5, II Cor. 11:3 2 Thess. 2:9 , Rev. 12:9 , Rev. 20:7Note: one of the wiles is to corrupt us from the simplicity that is in Christ.
II) We need a spiritual reality check Ephes. 6: 12,13There is a spiritual enemy who is intent on destroying us
III) We must pray – pray always – all kinds of prayersand supplication in the Holy SpiritPrayer has been the beginning of every great moveof God so take hold of Heaven and prayIV) Pray for me too! The Apostle Paul says, 'pray that Imight be bold'. He not asking, “release me from prison”but for boldness to proclaim the Gospel. He knew therewould be consequences, so that’s why he asked for boldness.
MINISTRY TIME
1. Read Ephesians. 6:19,20b out loud together and hear your ownvoice asking for boldness and pray for me, that utterance maybe given to me, that I may open my mouth boldly to make knownthe mystery of the gospel, that in it I may speak BOLDLY,as I ought to speak.
2. Pray for one another that you might have boldness and be able tospeak the words that are within you and see people come to Christ.
